The Summary of my recent activities~

I am planning to post my recent activities or events one per post. But i start to think that it will be a hassle cause I got no internet at home and I dont have the 'American time' to do so. Therefore, I decided to make a summary post of the events so that I can manage to catch up the many more events or activities coming soon~

Ok, first, while struggling for submission and stresses, we still manage to have a very wonderful Mooncake festival in Glasgow. Spending the night with a bunch of friends is really great! I won't say much, just let the pictures tell the stories~

Next, our frens Angel and Damerce set up a Singapore Students Society of Strathclyde(SSSS) and we are all the members. Despite the fact that it's a Singapore Society, there is actually more Malaysian than Singaporean. So, there are many events organise by them almost every week. Thanks to them, I really have a very active social lifestyle in Glasgow this year. Having dinner in Kokuryo is the first event that I attend. I really miss Korean food. That's one of my all time favourite. So, despite the fact that I m in my own credit crunch recently, I still attend the dinner.

Well, I guess this post is long enough. I personally dont like lengthy post. Therefore, that's all for now. Stay tune and there will be more to come~

(P/S: Do you manage to spot any lovely and potential couple inside? Well, if you don't, just wait for my coming posts, hopefully you will find them soon~)

(P/S 2: All photos credit goes to my dear Feli~)

My New Place in Glasgow

Back in Glasgow for 5 weeks and had been hunting flat for 3 weeks. It's definitely not an easy job as we want to find a cheap and nice flat (plus it has to be somewhere near the uni). It's harder also mainly because all the uni started and there's limited flat left within the city centre.

Had been staying over at my frens' super 'holiday villa' in GPO building for almost a month. Also had been well pampered by my great cook fren-Amily. Very spoilt by her cause we will have nice and served-warm dinner almost everyday. Already missing her cooking after moving to my new place the first day!

Well, back to my topic. Yes, I had move to a new place. It's a nice and cool place. The building itself is old (100 years old). The flat is great. H U G E~ Yes, when i say huge, i really mean it. The only bad things are: the flat is at ground level so it's extremely cold as compared to normal flat, there's only one toilet in the house(sharing between 3 persons, hmmm.....) and most of the doors in the house cannot close properly, especially the bathroom door~ Well, let the picture give u a tour then~

My super huge room. Got old old furnitures like the closet, chest drawer, table lamp and a rock chair (I left it in the store room, coz very scare it will suddenly move itself in the midnight).

One of the entrance hallway. We have two entrances but this is the main one that we normally use.

The Living room + Dining room

The kitchen which is quite big too~

The rather too big hallway which use to be the dining area and the second entrance is next to the coat hanger stand.

Well, there are few more spaces such as two of my housemates rooms, bathroom and many storage rooms which picture is not uploaded. Bathroom and storage got no posting value and my frens' rooms are consider P&C territory to them...Hence, that's all for this house tour. Hope you like my house like I do~ :)

Time to update my blog!

I have been back in Glasgow for about 2 weeks time. Missing home, friends and the weather in Malaysia already! The weather in Glasgow is really B A D! Windy, cold and rainy as usual. Where is my sun shine? Haih~

The first week in Uni isn't that relax. We already had submission by the first Thursday. Struggling and stress slowly come back to my life. Life isn't that easy like the pass few months anymore. There is always changes and we somehow need to adapt it. I once read about an article in a magazine. It said that the age 20-30 is the most challenging period of time in our lives. During this period, we decided the course of our study, which uni to go, where to go for travel, which career path to choose, what type of partner to be with, we even married and have children during this period of time. We make so much of choices during this period and one wrong decision may affect your whole life. I reckon it should be the most laughter and hard time in our lives. I am 24 now and going to be 25 soon. I guess I have pass through half of this period but only experience few of the things I mentioned just now.

There is not always struggling and stress for the past 2 weeks. There were actually lots of laughters and joyful time. Meeting with the juniors and getting along well with them are actually the unexpected one. Thanks to them! I actually have a great time even while struggling with submission. I think that's the best part during our studies. No matter how hard and stress it is, it is always very nice to have a group of good friends facing the hard time with you. And few years later, you will actually cherish that period of time no matter how hard it is. I am actually please to come back to my study life in Glagsow. I know there will be many torturing period coming soon, I know i might have break down period again, I know I might be struggling day and night and even have nightmare during submission time... But i somehow looking forward. I guess my resolution for this coming study year is to have my time managed well and finish my assignments one day before submission ( I know it's hard but we never know if we don't try it out). Another resolution is to study hard and play hard at the same time.

I think that's all for this blog. Oh ya, i finally get to find a nice accomodation. Going to move there in one or two weeks time. Hope it's as nice as what i thought. Will post the pictures once i move there and settle down. Stay tune for the coming post! Cheers!

Aiti's ROM~

I had blog about this good news last month. Finally, it's her big day~ She is the first among us who get registered. Therefore, 10 of us (consider a lot) had taken leave just to attend her ROM. We all agree that the attendance of so many of us is because she is the first one. So, when the next among us engaging in the future, i guess there should b less than 5 ppl. Hehehe...

I have uploadeded some pic in facebook. I still decided to blog about it as it is something very memorable. Anyway, Aiti looks gorgeous that day~ Love her dress too~ Once again, congratulation to my dear fren~

Summer project~

It was a group project for Building Construction 2 in Taylors College by year 2005. However, due to the requirement and limited time, we have never get the landscaping of this model house done during submission.

Recently, during my year 2009 summer break, I decided to finish up the model house - the house of my jimuis, mel and dadar. (Actually, I am doing it upon request by their father, mother, brother and sisters. Too hard to decline so many ppl's request, hehehe....) Here come my summer project~

However, still thanks to many ppl who gave me support (and also inspection) and help to finish up this small project. I think i wouldnt be so rajin without their "SUPPORT". Thanks mel for helping in getting materials. Thanks uncle and aunty Tan and Jackson for providing space, FOOD, DRINKS, and all utensils. Thanks QiQi for helping around while she was back home. Thanks Lewis for "HELPING" around. And also those that i forget to thanks. hahahaha.....

Anyway, here's some before picture and the final product~

Royal Opera House - Swan Lake

It was just a random idea. I just want to have an experience to go to royal opera house and also an experience to watch ballet. And to be lucky, there was one last super cheap ticket(£10) with restricted view and as a result, I had my two very first time. It was my first time in an opera house and it was also my first time to watch a real ballet show.

And to be honest, i am so so so so damn regreted. Not because the show was bad. Indeed, it was way too good and I shouldn't have bought a restricted view seated price ticket. Arghhhhh~~~~ I should have spend more to enjoy the nice show in this nice hall. During the show, almost 1/3 of the stage was blocked by the people in front of me. T.T
However, I still try my very best to standup a bit during the show. SOrry to my neighbours who got blocked by me~

Watcing Swan Lake is like a dream come true feeling to me. It's not that I want to learn ballet or what. It's just that I have been reading ballet's comic books since young and I have always know about the famous Swan Lake Ballet. But, it's a shame that i have never really watch a real Swan Lake Ballet in my life. I do fall in love in this elegant and loving dance.

The grand Royal Opera House, London.

The quality of the photo is aint that good but it's not too bad. 5mp hp cam in the dark room, can't expect too much, right?

The audience. It's a full house show.

The end of the show.

The beautiful dancers.

So elegant~

The bad quality photo of me. arghhhh~~~
