Memories~

It's September already. Been staying in the flat for a year and finally move out from it few days ago. One year has gone by and i have grown much affection to this home in Glasgow. It's the reluctant and attached feeling making me getting harder and harder to leave the flat. Last 2 weeks I have been packing all my 4 years belongings to send back home. I found many little things which drawn my memory back to the past 4 years. Many things happen and many things change. Glasgow though is sometimes grey and dull but it has been my comfort zone for the past few years. I know i will miss everything here even though i have been hating it most of the time.

Been staying with Weychii for a year and puisan for month. Puisan used to called us the three little pig - the pity 3 buddies in the house during the master thesis period. It's nice because they are always there to share my feeling and thought all the times. I know i can be quite mean sometimes especially those close to me like the other two little 'pigs'. I must really say sorry to u guys if i had annoyed u guys during these periods but i do enjoy staying with u guys and i really hope u guys feel the same too. Will miss u guys and love ya! :)

The 3 little pig. (credit: found it in google image, love it)

The real 3 little pigs forever~

Gonna cherish this period~

International banquet in STrathclyde

It's an international day in Strathclyde Architecture Department and we are suppose to prepare some food to the banquet. It's suppose to be something representing your culture and country. So, to cook something easy and not so hussle, i decided to make kuik Kodok, a malay style banana snacks. Well, it turns out alright, eatable, just that the banana is not mature enough and i had deep fried it a bit too long so it turns out to be too hard when it cold. But, it's a good experience, i will know how to make it next time then~

Kuih Kodok - the banana fritters

It's actually quite nice

The High Street Dinner buddy decided to start a food tour occasionally.  Each of us will get to choose a restaurant we like around Glasgow and go whenever we feel lazy to cook or sick of cooking~ Today's dinner is on Puisan's choice. It's the pre-theatre menu in Ingram Wynd, the Scottish restaurant around the corner. It was a good dinner. Good food, good wine and good chat~

THe one about my studio!

This year i m taking Urban Design as my studio thesis project. It's a community project holding by Uni of Strathclyde together with the help of Glasgow City Council, the ROck Developer and some others authorities. A cool and fun project aiming to redevelop Barras Market and the surrounding area which is where we will based in for the next 9 months. The developer is actually kind enough to provide us two of the units in Barras Market for FREE. Yeah! it's free. Our studio, tutorial and exam will all based here. Pretty cool~

A month has just gone and we came out with some site analysis. As part of the examination, we held an exhibition and present all our works to the uni and public. It's great! I started to love team work now! I am having a great start of the year in Strathclyde. Wish me luck!
