A farewell dinner
My ex-colleague, Fei was so generous to have treat me and Phythia in My Old Place (老地方) to have a farewell dinner. I must say that the food is great and the portion is big. It's a good gathering place if you are looking for nice and affordable food.
The starter
Fried bean, even vegetable also fried with chili.
Fried pork...also with chili
This is aubergine with meat in between. It kinda reminds me my mom's cooking, which is the Yong Tau Fu she always make using aubergine.
This is my favorite - Lamb stew
My ex-colleagues - Fei and Phythia

London Footprint 4 : Singapore Day 2009 in Hampton Court
It's a sunny day again. The London Singapore Day 2009 was held in Hampton Court. Me, Pui San and Nic went all the way to Hampton Court and found out that it's actually a really nice place. The most important is that - I met Callista, my friend from A-Level class. Surprise!!
I was having fun during Singapore Day. The food is consider good for me and most important is - THEY ARE ALL FREE!!! I am so surprise that we can actually got free stuff during the day. We even got free t-shirt, diary, cds, magazines, goody bags and drinks. There are lots of Singapore's artist performing during the day. I was so glad to hear the Singaporean English and Hokkien again. I suddenly feel so HOME.
Chicken Rice and Chilli Crab...Yum Yum...I only manage to take few stalls picture cause my both hands are way too busy too carry all the food.

About the food~
I have been very lazy since I got redundant. I have plenty of time but I don't cook as much as I was working last time. I normally eating plain porridge with a simple dish. However, once in a while, I do cook something nice to reward myself. Below are a few dishes I cooked (I did cooked them myself, I swear):
Grill fish head with Teriyaki sauce. This is my first time doing this myself and it is actually quite easy.

London Footprint 2: Regents Park
It has been 2 weeks since I last update my blog. Anyway, don't think that I am doing nothing during this period. My footprint project still going on daily.
London weather has been so great for the past week. Extremely great considering it always has shit weather. The sunshine is so great and it feel so great to just lay on the grass in the park and have a nice sunbathing. I realized that I have become a sun worshiper just like all the other British. This is so different for me when I was back in Malaysia. I hate walking under the sun in Malaysia because it is burning. Or maybe it's because we always have sunny day in Malaysia and we tend to take it for granted.
I spent 2 afternoons exploring Regents Park. Mainly it's because it is kinda big and my camera battery die halfway on the first day and also I was kinda lost in the park. I am not kidding!!! I did get lost and therefore walked around the same places for few times. =.= Ok, I must admit that my good sense of direction don't work all the time. ;P
What can we find most in the park? I would say flowers, kids and dogs because you will see most of them in my photo album. And normally we can see so so so many things going on in a parks such as: reading, walking dog, picnic, jogging, playing football, sunbathing, snogging(I m serious and I even got a few photos to prove, hehehe, I am definitely not a stalker) and I even meet a going-to-marry-soon-couple shooting wedding photos.
Sun-bathing. I used to sit there once and a person come to collect money from me. =.= I seriously dunno i need to pay for the chair.
