London Footprint 1: Columbia Road Flower Market

Our first London footprint project: Columbia Road Flower Market. I know Nic already blogged about this topic but different people got different perspective, right? Yeah! You know I am right. Hehehe....

Ok, we had decided to jalan-jalan and take pic in the flower market during the easter sunday. The flower market is just so colourful and I love all the flowers there. How I wish that one day my Mr Right will give me a big bunch of flowers from time to time!!! *day-dreaming* Please don't say I am very materialistic or waste money. I once heard my beloved ji mui - dadar said: Any gal who say that she don't want to receive flowers during Valentine day is a LIER~ & all the gals do like to receive flowers. So do I, k?

Dessert session~

There are few more weeks before I leave London. Before leaving this lively and wonderful city, me and Nic decided to leave our footprints all around London (actually it's his ambition, i just follow whenever i feel like wan to...hehehe). At the same time, we also wanna try out as much special food and beverage as possible. Therefore, here we are, a hungarian bakery shop which has many many many cakes....yum yum....A super nice and traditional shop called LOUIS PATISSERIE. It has been open since 1963. Joanne will definitely love it if she is here. But too bad, Nic only discover this shop few days back.

To me, this shop is full of sin. Y? The reason is so simple. It is simply because cake is the NO. 1 fattening food. Ok, maybe I am way too over. However, even though it is not NO. 1, it will still be the TOP 5 fattening food. Whatever, it's just once in a blue moon. I deserve some nice treat once in a while. Right? *nodding my head aggressively*

I wish I can try all of them. * saliva dripping*

Can you see the plates, cutlery, cups and tea pot set? Aren't they just so traditional and lovely? I just heart them so much.

Busy eating here~ YUM YUM...I just simply can't resist cheese cake. How about my slimming plan? Okla, tomorrow, I promise I will start keeping fit tomorrow!!!

As you know, gals are always very 'small gas'. As a revenge, I decided to put his TAM JIAK pic here. HOHOHO....

My current condition

Alright, I am being a bit lazy to repeat my current condition again and again...Therefore, I think it will be helpful to say it once here and end of story. Makes it a lot easier for me. :)

Ok, I had been taking my year out to work in an architecture firm called Dyer in London. I had been working since October 2008. However, due to the economic crisis, most of the projects in my office had been cut cost or worst still - held back. Therefore, my office had decided to make redundancy and the first redundancy was made on the first day of CNY. Damn shit right? What a bad day to start the year, to be precise, my year - OX year. So feng shui is always correct - one will always having bad luck during her own year. =.=

First time had made 10 people redundant. The second time is 6 people while the third time is 40 people. Ok, I am lucky enough to survive through the first time and second time. But the third time......haih.....not that lucky anymore. I had been made REDUNDANT!!!! Worst still, I was made redundant 2 days before my birthday. Y? Y? Y? Y cant they just let me know after my birthday? DAMN~

Ok. As a jobless person, I have been decided to go back Malaysia earlier. Most probably by mid of May. So, all my friends back in Malaysia. Wait for me ya. We gonna go yam cha, sing k, watch movie and also MAKAN. But then, before that, I am going to Barcelona by early May. Yuhoo~ Can't wait for it already.

Then, by sept, i will go back to university in Glasgow to continue my 4th year. My intership experience will then be continue again after graduated. So, actually it's still consider lucky cause i had been working for 6 full months.

So, the whole jobless April I will be hanging around at home, lepak around London, focusing on my slimming plan(not very successful...T_T ) and also blogging. I do try to find part time but there are too many jobless people out there which make it so much harder for me especially an Asian to find a part time around. My life is a bit useless now. Wake up late in the afternoon and doing nothing the whole day. I can never remember which day is it today. Haih~

Ok, that's the whole story about me recently. So, if possible, stop asking me what, why, when and where. It's a bit tiring to repeat the story again and again. Not that I am sad about it or what. I am just TIRED. Anyway, dont worry about me. Being jobless is not always that bad. I am always a happy-go-lucky person. :D I am pretty positive about my life now and I always cherish any moment I am having now. Anyway, life is short what! SO, I WILL LIVE TO THE MAX!!! Yeah!!

SeChuan Steamboat

It's just an random occasion. Not really celebrating anything but if really wanna make it special for something, then I would say that this dinner is to celebrate Nicholas last day of internship (what a lame excuse cause he had been make redundant few months back). Anyway, here we are, a Chinese restaurant which is called ANGELS (a very unusual Chinese name, i know..... =.=) to have a Sechuan steamboat dinner.

Can you see the amount of chillies in the pot??? Really OMG...by the way...the prawns were super nice...eat too much till i forget that i actually got high cholesterol...=.=

So, where am i? As usual, i am the cameraman. So, nobody take photo of me and i dont wan to be a camwhore taking my own photo in the restaurant. Nvm, promise will have my photo real soon. :)

p/s: The consequences of eating the Sechuan steamboat was to go to the toilet for 2 times the next morning. It was really burning....>.<

Ladies and gentlemen~

Proudly present my personal blog --- JaNice - the spRing bAby. First of all, I would like to thank our dear Flora, who inspired me to start my own blog. Then, I guess I must "thank" my ex-company for making me redundant (=.=), which make me bored till LAO SAI, and as a result inspiring me to start my own blog. Other than that, thanks to Alex, Nic, Joanne, Samantha, Tris and Flora, who has a blog and therefore some of my free times are occupied by reading their blogs(so this is another inspiration for me to start my blog too). Finally, thanks to our super talented photographer, Mr Nicholas Teng, who help me to take the super duper nice title head photo and as a result ---- here comes my personal blog!!! Wohoo!!!

Ok, to be honest, I am a super duper lazy person. Therefore, I cannot promise to update my blog very often. However, I will try my very best to update my blog as long as I am free or at least......once a week...hehehe.....But don't feel weird if I don't keep my promise because like I said, I AM LAZY!!!!
