Update

I haven't been updating my blog for a week plus. Right....U can always say that I am lazy....cause even me myself also wont deny that fact. Hohohoho....

Okay, I am currently in Malaysia now. Life is so good except~~~~TOO HOT. I really cannot stand the weather even though I have reached home since a week ago. I know there is a thing called AIR-COND. BUT..... I only switch on the air-cond at home about one or two hours per day. Doubting my words? Trust me, I am a good daughter who help dad to spend less on electricity bill. *PROUD-ing*

So far, I have been eaten laksa, nasi lemak, Bak Kut Teh, rojak, roti canai, my favourite vietnamese food in Vietnam Kitchen, "bak zhang", teh tarik, manggis and my mom's cooking. More food yet to try such as Leong TaoFu, crab, hokkien mee, wat tan hor, kuey teow, chicken rice, satay, and so so so many more. Seriously, I start to worry about my weight. Therefore, to make sure that the INPUT = OUTPUT, I also went jogging. But so far, due to my laziness, INPUT > OUTPUT. However, not to worry, I will try my best to balance it. Hahahaha.

I have been lazying at home for a week. My dad always tease me. He said: " When I go out in the morning, I saw you sitting on this lazy chair in front of the TV, when I come back in the evening, you are still sitting on the same place." Ok, I admit that I am a hopeless TV addictor. Hmmm.....maybe not hopeless, just slightly hopeless. But, it's partly my dad's fault too. He just change the tv from 32 inch to 42 inch. So, how can I resist it? Right??? U know i am right. Hohohoho.....

Ok, so far, nothing special, I havent even been to KL. Too happily staying at home. But, don't worry, I will soon going to watch movieSSS and sing KSSSS..... Nowadays, hardly can find a kaki for all these activities. Even Mel also have to go to work everyday. haih....Mel ar....when can we go REDBOX???? I am dying....dying...dying to sing K edi~

My brother is so thrilled when he watched this video. He showed it to me and ask me to teach him play this song. This is the first time my beloved brother actually want to learn piano from me cause he always think that I was producing sound pollution while I was playing piano at home. =.=

I do think that the piano is very awesome. I think I will try to learn it when I got the piano lyric. Hope you enjoy the video below~

Cupcakes~

I had pass by this bakery in Portobello Market. I was first attracted by the crowd gathered in front of this shop and then i realised that all of them were queueing for the CUPCAKES. I was so excited to see so many colourful cupcakes and really intended to buy a few to try. However, the queue was way too long and I was too lazy to wait for the queue. Therefore, I GIVEUP!

Few days later, I saw another branch of this bakery nearby South Kensington Station and there is no queue in this branch. Wow, great! Therefore, I decided to buy a few to try out.

A farewell dinner

My ex-colleague, Fei was so generous to have treat me and Phythia in My Old Place (老地方) to have a farewell dinner. I must say that the food is great and the portion is big. It's a good gathering place if you are looking for nice and affordable food.

London Footprint 4 : Singapore Day 2009 in Hampton Court

It's a sunny day again. The London Singapore Day 2009 was held in Hampton Court. Me, Pui San and Nic went all the way to Hampton Court and found out that it's actually a really nice place. The most important is that - I met Callista, my friend from A-Level class. Surprise!!

I was having fun during Singapore Day. The food is consider good for me and most important is - THEY ARE ALL FREE!!! I am so surprise that we can actually got free stuff during the day. We even got free t-shirt, diary, cds, magazines, goody bags and drinks. There are lots of Singapore's artist performing during the day. I was so glad to hear the Singaporean English and Hokkien again. I suddenly feel so HOME.

About the food~

I have been very lazy since I got redundant. I have plenty of time but I don't cook as much as I was working last time. I normally eating plain porridge with a simple dish. However, once in a while, I do cook something nice to reward myself. Below are a few dishes I cooked (I did cooked them myself, I swear):

Fu Zuk + Lotus seed bailey.

Grill fish head with Teriyaki sauce. This is my first time doing this myself and it is actually quite easy.

Roti Canai with Curry Chicken. Please don't think that i make the roti canai myself cause I am not that good yet. Hehe. It is just ready-make roti canai i bought from supermarket.

Cola Chicken Wing, a recipe from my fren Angeline. Yummy but I am thinking going to use diet coke instead of normal coke to cook next time.

P/S: They are just simple and normal dishes and therefore I am not putting the recipe here. However, do leave me a comment if you really want the recipe.

London Footprint 3: Portobello Market

I had been to Portobello market. A typical British market with lots of antics. However, I still prefer Malaysia's market cause there are more food in Malaysia's market. Hehehe. But~ there are some vintage and interesting shops here that can't be find in Malaysia.
